More than 160 Yaracuyan students acquire knowledge in science and cyberrights

In an effort to promote a scientific vocation among young Venezuelans, 166 students, aged between 6 and 17, from the Juan Crisóstomo Falcón National High School and the Susana María de Dorante School, participated in an inspiring scientific day organized by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FUNDACITE) Yaracuy , the Infocentro Foundation and the State Research Center Foundation for Experimental Agroindustrial Production (CIEPE).

The day included educational dynamics and practical activities in key areas such as agroecology, where students learned about germination, seed conservation and organic fertilizer techniques. In addition, they experimented with cuniculture and participated in fun chemical experiments on homogeneous and heterogeneous mixtures.

In addition, young people were allowed to explore the solar system and carry out astronomical night observations with professional telescopes, and educational robotics workshops were held, in which students took their first steps in programming, and activities on the prevention of cyberbullying and the rights of children and adolescents, according to a press release from the Ministry of Popular Power for Science and Technology (MINCYT).
