The Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs and Cults, Edgar Arteaga, reported that more than 16,000 officials are guarding the security of the state of Carabobo during these Carnivals 2026.
From the Guacara toll booth, he indicated that they are deployed “supervising the different control points to accompany our people in this mobilization that is taking place in these holidays of the year.”
In turn, he highlighted the participation of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), the Bolivarian National Police (PNB), the regional police, as well as Firefighters, Civil Protection and the National Institute of Land Transportation (INTT).
“We feel comfortable serving these days, while the Venezuelan family is at peace and defends their right to joy,” he said and reported that “there have been no accidents during carnivals that we have had victims to regret.”
On the other hand, it was urged to avoid driving under the influence of alcoholic beverages, in addition to urging drivers to refrain from using their cell phones while driving. “It's better to arrive a little later, but to arrive alive,” he said.
