More than 160,000 people were incorporated into the pension system in 2024

During 2024, the Venezuelan Social Security Institute (IVSS) incorporated more than 160 thousand 778 elderly people into the pension system.
Through a video published on its Telegram channel, the IVSS highlighted that with these additions, the number of pensioners in the country rose to 5 million 679 thousand 250.
In the same way, the IVSS reported that during 2024 it also advanced the care of 21,956 patients in Social Care Homes.
