More than 17 kilos of cocaine were seized by members of the Bolivarian National Guard in Aragua

Members of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) seized 17,030 kilos of cocaine during patrol work.

The information was released by the uniformed personnel, who stressed that the incident occurred on Fuerzas Aéreas Avenue in the municipality of Girardot, Aragua state.

The drug was impregnated in two hammocks, carried by two citizens identified as: Jesús Antonio Barboza Padilla and Rosa Eugenia García Peña, who were placed under the command of the Public Ministry for illegal trafficking in narcotic substances.
