More than 180 killed in Gaza after Israeli attacks in the past 48 hours

A total of 186 people have been killed in the Gaza Strip during attacks over the past 48 hours by the Zionist regime in Israel.

In a statement, the Israeli Armed Forces reported this Sunday about a joint operation by the Air Force and the Southern Command against more than 100 targets over the weekend, at several sites allegedly used in recent days by Palestinian fighters to fire projectiles at Israel.

“In a dangerous, shocking and brutal escalation as usual, the occupying army has carried out more than 94 incursions, bombings and crimes over the past 72 hours,” counting “hundreds of unarmed civilians and residential areas,” said Hamas in a statement. The Gaza Ministry of Health reported the closure of the Indonesian Hospital, the only one that was operating in the besieged north of the Palestinian enclave.

The escalation comes amid the resumption of indirect negotiations between Hamas and Israel in Qatar with a view to reaching an agreement for a truce and the exchange of prisoners.
