More than 18,000 Community Councils continue with the renewal of spokespersons

The process of renewing the spokespersons of the communal councils is progressing throughout the national territory, with the participation of 18,000 of these community structures in this phase of the National Plan for the Renewal and Adaptation of Voceries, the Ministry of Popular Power for Communes and Social Movements reported.

During the day, communities participate in Community Electoral Fairs to update their representatives and working committees, in a process that seeks to strengthen the organization and direct management of People's Power, according to a note from Última Noticias,

In Cojedes, 14 spokespersons have been renewed over the past week in the municipalities of Ezequiel Zamora, Ricaurte, Rómulo Gallegos, Tinaquillo, Pao de San Juan Bautista and Anzoátegui, with the participation of urban and rural communities.

Meanwhile, in Guárico, the day contemplates the renewal of 857 Community Councils in the state's 15 municipalities, while in Cojedes, 14 spokespersons have been renewed in six municipalities, with the participation of urban and rural communities.

For his part, the Minister for the Communes, Ángel Prado, verified this Sunday the development of the process in Anzoátegui, where the renewal is being carried out in more than 2,332 communal councils of the entity.

The Ministry of Communes reiterated that electoral fairs make it possible to renew leadership, legitimize new voices and give continuity to projects promoted by communities.
