More than 20 health care points operating in the Divine Shepherdess procession

More than 20 medical care points will be in operation along the entire route of the Divine Shepherdess procession, with the possibility of making immediate transfers to the nearest hospitals, said the president of the Chamber of Tourism of the state of Lara, Antonio José Morales,

During a telephone interview on the Al Aire program broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), Morales indicated that the device is part of the coordinated work between regional security forces, the Archdiocese of Barquisimeto and public sector institutions.

“This is a liaison between regional security bodies, the Archdiocese and the public sector. More than 5,000 officials will be on the streets to protect the procession process, which goes smoothly every year,” said Morales.

He specified that the medical assistance points will be distributed along the main roads and will make it possible to face any eventuality during the faithful's journey.

Morales reiterated that the security and assistance system will be active from the beginning to the end of the day.
