More than 200 tourism providers started Training Plan in Morrocoy

Last Monday, May 4, a total of 221 Tourism Service Providers (PST) initiated the Morrocoy Training Plan (I Moment), with the objective of strengthening heritage identity, hospitality and quality of service in emblematic destinations in the country.

The initiative responds to the training policies promoted by the Minister of Popular Power for Tourism, Daniella Cabello, and contemplates a flexible and dynamic educational model, led by facilitators from the National Institute of Tourism, the University of Tourism and the National Institute of Parks of Venezuela.

During this first day, 103 participants received training in heritage and service, while another 118 addressed issues related to environmental daycare, the National Park system and the importance of ecosystem assets .

The program included awareness-raising activities and spaces for debate on the Environment-Economy-Social relationship, where attendees identified challenges and proposed good practices for the sustainability of the territory.

It should be noted that this day, which ends on May 7, seeks to strengthen the sector 's commitment to the preservation of the environment and local development.
