More than 255,000 families were affected by heavy rainfall in Bolivia

This Monday, Bolivia's Deputy Minister of Civil Defense, Juan Carlos Calvimontes, reported that a total of 255,657 families were affected by rains.

 

In this regard, he added that 1,529 homes are completely destroyed, 163 municipalities and 2,533 communities affected by heavy rainfall.

 

In addition, 27 municipalities were declared to be in a “municipal disaster”, while the death toll has remained at 52 since last November when the rainy season began, according to a note from the Xinhua website.
