More than 3 million inhabitants of Los Llanos have benefited from the vegetation control plan being carried out by CORPOELEC

The National Vegetation Control Plan (PNCV) has reported significant progress in the Apure, Barinas, Cojedes, Guárico and Portuguesa states, guaranteeing the operation and maintenance of the facilities of the National Electric Corporation (CORPOELEC). These preventive tasks have a direct impact on the electricity service of more than 3 million inhabitants of the plain area.

Since its inception on August 20, the CORPOELEC staff has carried out intensive and coordinated work that has resulted in the adaptation of 1,745 kilometers and 356 hectares of electrical infrastructure, covering generation, transmission and distribution lines.

According to a press release, the main objective of this plan is to obtain tangible results that strengthen the reliability, sovereignty and efficiency of public services.
