With more than 300 works from countries such as Chile, Ecuador, Bolivia, Cuba, Colombia, Mexico and Venezuela, the call for the VI Juan Beroes Poetry Biennial, organized by the Government of Táchira State through the Department of Culture and Fine Arts of the Andean entity, closed.

On this occasion, the contest closed with a record of 305 poetic works, and the appointed jury announced that it will announce its official verdict on November 17 as part of the closing of the International Poetry Book Fair (Expoesia), which is being held this year at the Rómulo Gallegos Center for Higher Studies, in Caracas.

In addition, on November 17, the work Visions by the Colombian poet Javier Bosch, winner of the last edition of the biennial, will be presented.
