The Government of Apure State was able to guarantee a continuous and efficient drinking water service for more than 30,000 families in the capital of Llanera.

The work was carried out in the municipality of San Fernando, specifically in the catchment of the María Nieves bridge, over the Apure River. There, a 240 HP submersible equipment was replaced.

This strategic intervention allows for a significant increase in water flow, to add an additional 250 liters per second. This improved flow is directly directed to the “La Defensa” water treatment plant, ensuring an uninterrupted and quality supply for the inhabitants of San Fernando.

In that regard, the governor of Apure State, Wilmer Rodríguez, reiterated his commitment to the population, assuring that they work tirelessly to provide optimal public services.

The actions are part of the guidelines issued by the president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez, who in turn complies with the guidelines established by President Nicolás Maduro.
