With workshops held in different municipalities and parishes in the state of Aragua, the Ministry of Food has provided care to more than 30,000 older adults, including the delivery of CLAP packages, health operations, recreational programs and cultural activities.
Marisol Herrera, representative of the mission in Aragua, in statements given to the newspaper Última Noticias, indicated that these actions, which seek to promote social inclusion and the well-being of those who are in vulnerable conditions, are part of the first vertex of the Great Mission of the Fathers of the Fatherland.
“Our goal is to ensure that every grandparent gets the care they deserve. These programs are designed to provide not only food assistance, but also medical services and psychological support... Through various activities and programs, they are offered the opportunity to access essential services that allow them to live with dignity and well-being,” Herrera said.
He explained that among the municipalities served are Mariño (Turmero), Girardot (Maracay), Zamora (La Villa), Lamas (Santa Cruz) and Libertador (Palo Negro), guaranteeing 100% care in each of the municipalities addressed.
For his part, state director Brian Díaz, assured that they are leading this initiative with a proactive approach, working closely with local teams in each municipality to identify the specific needs of each community, offering them effective solutions.
“At the Ministry of Food, we work to ensure that everyone receives the necessary support to live fully. Caring for our elderly is a shared responsibility that requires a joint effort between the government, communities and families,” he concluded.
