More than 320 recreational people and 18 social movements initiated the Venezuela Vacation Plan RIE 2026, in Lara state, beginning the days in the Guerrera Ana Soto parish in the Iribarren municipality, in western Barquisimeto.
The president of the Lara State Tourism Corporation (CORTULARA), Carmen Julia Leal, specified, in statements collected by the Venezuelan News Agency (AVN), that the program plans to serve children and young people, in addition to providing care to older adults in the territories of 350 community councils of the entity.
The head of the Integral Recreation Network (REIR), José Timaure, reported that it is carried out simultaneously in the nine municipalities of the state, activating six high-impact points to develop sports, training and cultural activities with direct access to the community.
The initiative, promoted together with the communes, the Youth Institute and the Ministry for Sports, seeks to guarantee the healthy use of free time, promote values of social coexistence and reinforce the integral leisure of families in Larense during the vacation period.
