More than 3,600 people from Apurea participate in the II National Popular Consultation 2025

In the communal circuit “El Patrullero”, located in the municipality of San Fernando, the II National Popular Consultation was held in 2025 in which more than 3,600 people from Apurea were summoned to participate in this democratic exercise.

Maritza Navas, community spokeswoman, highlighted the importance of this process: “It gave us the power to communities to solve our problems. Since the beginning of these consultations, we have obtained concrete answers for issues such as white water, wastewater and sewer covers. Today, we are continuing a project chosen in the first consultation, prioritizing the acquisition of blocks for the commune, the manufacture of sewer covers, the rehabilitation of communal houses and the acquisition of computers for magistrates' rooms.”

For his part, Germán Rivero, a member of the community of La Muñoz, highlighted the active participation of the inhabitants: “The participation has been extraordinary. This call from our president Nicolás Maduro allows popular power to choose projects that benefit our communities. It is an example of how the Bolivarian government is providing immediate answers with the support of political teams and community councils.”

The Second National Popular Consultation 2025, which is being held throughout the national territory, the National Electoral Council (CNE) enabled more than 5,718 voting centers and 7,438 polling stations. This process allows communities to prioritize projects among more than 30,000 proposals presented in citizen assemblies, framed in the Seven Transformations Plan (7T), promoted by President Nicolás Maduro.
