The public that attended the 19th edition of the Venezuelan International Book Fair (FILVEN) Mérida at the Tulio Febres Cordero Cultural Center, enjoyed a wide editorial offer with more than 40 exhibitors and diverse presentations of texts from all literary genres, as well as poetry recitals and different cultural and artistic expressions, under the motto Reading Reunites Us.

FILVEN Mérida was made possible through organized work between the Ministry of Popular Power for Culture (MPPC), the National Book Center (CENAL), the State Cabinet of Culture, and the entity's Government.

In this edition, Reissues of The Andean in Power and The Yesterday That Made the World of Today by Domingo Alberto Rangel were presented. The author's son, Domingo Alberto Rangel Mantilla; the writer Luis Britto García and Valentina Vadell were in charge of the presentations of these books.

On The Andean in Power (new edition of The Dog and the Frog in collaboration with Vadell Hermanos, 2023), “it is a book that I consider essential in Venezuela, because in every country there are three or four books that anyone who wants to know the soul of a country would necessarily have to read,” said Rangel Mantilla.
