Last Wednesday, the World Health Organization (WHO) reported that 410 Israeli attacks on health facilities in Gaza have been documented since the regime began the war on October 7 last year.
Two-fifths of the Israeli attacks took place in Gaza City, a quarter of them in the north and another quarter in the city of Khan Younis, in the south of the nation, Hispantv said.
The WHO emphasizes that the health sector should not be a target in armed conflicts, and urges the Israeli regime to respect international law, which requires the active protection of civilians and health facilities.
“What doctors and medical staff tell us is that they are increasingly seeing the effects of hunger; they see that newborns simply die because they [have] a weight that is too low at birth,” said WHO representative Margaret Harris.
