In the Heroes of Chirica Commune, in the Chirica parish, in the state of Bolívar, a social and comprehensive health day was held last weekend that benefited more than 5 thousand inhabitants of the Caroní municipality.

The Sectorial Vice President of Science, Technology, Ecosocialism and Health, Gabriela Jiménez, explained that the deployment included prioritized care for all sectors of the population, through a comprehensive health day, which covered more than eight medical specialties

In addition, according to a press release, among the services offered are “pediatrics, gynecology, echosonography, pharmacy, cardiology and we also have care for our pregnant women”, as well as “the provision of vitamins, humanized delivery, dentistry and love for our girls and boys who also come to receive the vaccines from the National Immunization Plan”.

He recalled that the National Immunization Plan was promoted by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro and that thanks to cooperation with the Pan American Health Organization, a large inventory of vaccines is guaranteed for children.

Minister Gabriela Jiménez Ramírez highlighted that the conference was held simultaneously in more than 11 sectors.
