More than 5 thousand Russian tourists have arrived in Venezuela

This week, the General Caribbean International Airport in Jefe Santiago Mariño, on the island of Margarita, received 468 new tourists from the Russian Federation. With this new arrival, the flow has risen to five thousand 101 visitors to the Slavic country since the start of the operation in the month of August.

In this way, the state of Nueva Esparta is consolidated as the country's first destination tourism hub par excellence. This new arrival confirms the success of the Moscow-Porlamar charter operation through Pegas Touristik and Hovertours, in coordination with the Ministry of People's Power for Tourism (Mintur), under the direction of its owner, Leticia Gómez. This operation is in addition to the visit of 100 tourists carried out last Monday, October 27, by the Venetur Russia office.

The islands of Margarita, Coche and Cubagua will be irresistible destinations for vacationers, who will enjoy the different tourist routes supported by Mintur, which show the cultural, historical, gastronomic and natural diversity of the eastern state. These actions demonstrate that joint work between the National Government and the private sector generates positive fruits for the well-being of the country.
