More than 500 people attended the 1st Brión Municipal Socioproductive Entrepreneurship ExpoFeria 2026

The Brión municipality became the epicenter of production and innovation with the inauguration of the 1st Municipal Socioproductive Entrepreneurship Expo Fair 2026, which on its first day brought together more than 500 attendees on the Roofed Court of the Territorial Polytechnic University of Barlovento “Argelia Laya”.
The event was inaugurated by the mayor of the Brión municipality, Olga Pacheco, together with the Deputy Minister of Productive Development for Women and president of FONAEM, Maryury Bargiela, who took a tour of the 40 stands where local entrepreneurs exhibited their production.
The fair showed initiatives in areas such as gastronomy, crafts, costume jewelry, textiles, tourism, manufacturing and innovation, highlighting projects promoted by communes such as Juana Ramírez La Avanzadora and Cacique Higoroto, aimed at strengthening the local economy.
Within the framework of the conference, institutions such as FONAEM, SENIAT, Emprender Junto, Fondeses and Sumart offered direct assistance to entrepreneurs through procedures, advice and certifications, while the financial sector participated with account opening and credit guidance services.
The activity also included a training agenda with presentations on the entrepreneurial ecosystem, turning the central platform into a space for the exchange of knowledge.
Mayor Olga Pacheco extended the invitation to the population to participate in the second day of the ExpoFeria, which will continue this Saturday with activities aimed at strengthening local entrepreneurship.
