A total of 5,718 electoral centers will be authorized on April 27 for the Second National Popular Consultation of 2025, according to the Ministry of Communes, Social Movements and Urban Agriculture.
Through a press release, the Communas portfolio explained that, as a result of the massive participation of the people in previous consultations, the number of installed electoral centers increased for this new vote, activating more than one center per Commune where required.
In addition, in the above-mentioned text, it was indicated that all the information relating to the proposed projects, information and training for members of the board and the Electoral Commission, the location of the voting centers, among others, is available on the ministry's web portal.
“This historic process represents a new step in the construction of the Community and Popular Government System, allowing communities to prioritize their needs and select, through direct voting, the project that most benefits their territory,” the press release said.
