More than 6 thousand tons of asphalt have been placed on the Maracay-Ocumare highway

The governor of the state of Aragua, Karina Carpio, reported that six thousand 47 tons of hot asphalt have been placed on the Maracay-Ocumare highway on the Gold Coast.

In this regard, he also highlighted the efforts of the regional government through Roads of Aragua with the support of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, in coordination with the Ministry of Popular Power for Transportation.

Carpio emphasized the relevance of this route not only for tourism, but also for local production. It should be noted that the lack of maintenance on this road could have left a significant part of the population incommunicado, but thanks to the joint efforts of the National, Regional and Local Government, this vital artery was recovered.
