Computer experts made a diagnosis of the alleged “minutes” published by the extreme right on its fraudulent website, after the elections of July 28, determining that 83% of these were altered using editing software.
The experts explained what the metadata says, in this case, what is the brand of the equipment that scanned the document, the serial number of the equipment, and it says the time and day that that document was copied.
They explained that if you check the metadata of an image, you can verify if it is a faithful copy of an original or if any modification was made to it, highlighting that in most of the images that are on the fraudulent web, the metadata does not appear or is deleted.
The fact that there is no metadata in the document means that this image has been altered, its color, its content, since elements such as numbers, signatures were added to it or because they were subtracted, so it cannot be considered a faithful copy of the original.
