More than a thousand students from Valencia were treated by the La Salud Goes to School program

The Government of the state of Carabobo held a day of the program Health Goes to School, at the Generalissimo Francisco de Miranda Educational Unit, located in the Miguel Peña parish of the municipality of Valencia.

The activity was organized by the Carabobeño Institute Foundation for Health (INSALUD), in coordination with the Barrio Adentro Mission, and benefited an enrollment of approximately 1,100 students, who received comprehensive medical care completely free of charge, according to a press release from the Government.

“Our team is deployed in this important educational institution, providing direct and quality care to all students. We are committed to protecting the health of our children, and seeing the active participation of their representatives fills us with enthusiasm and hope,” said Francisco Tortolero, Regional Coordinator of the Program for the Prevention of Accidents and Violent Events.

Among the medical services offered, the following stand out: dental evaluation, visual health, musculoskeletal program, height and weight control, nutritional counseling, general medicine, diabetology, vaccination, psychology, pediatrics, internal medicine, among others.
