The “More Years, More Love” program benefited 5,000 elderly people in Guatire, Miranda state, with medical care, food and protein delivery, and banking services from the Venezuelan Social Security Institute (IVSS).

Edgar Castro , coordinator of the National Institute of Social Services (INASS) in Zamora, explained that grandparents of state pension age were able to scan the Carnet de la Patria. In addition, evaluations were offered by the National Institute of Nutrition (INN), weight and height checks, physiatry and the delivery of vitamin supplements, benefiting 800 grandparents in Las Casitas.

The program Chocotherapy” was also promoted to promote active aging through dance, and a carnival troupe was held with 50 circles of grandparents touring Guatire, according to a press release from Radio Miraflores.
