The telephone operator MOVILNET regained connectivity in various sectors of the capital city and adjacent areas, following the bombing of Venezuela by the United States.

After the recovery work, the total restoration of the signal was confirmed in Bello Monte, Santa Fe, Cumbres de Curumo, Colinas de Santa Mónica, Av. Victoria, El Valle, El Cementerio, Cota 905 and the La Bandera Terminal.

In addition, operation was guaranteed in key health centers such as the Peripheral Car Hospital, MOVILNET press reports.

The reconnection efforts were successfully extended to the Altos Mirandinos and other towns in the suburbs, including: Los Teques, San Antonio de los Altos, Venezuelan Institute for Scientific Research (IVIC), Hoyo de la Puerta and Pozo de Rosas.

In a statement, MOVILNET categorically rejected any aggression that violates Venezuelans' right to communication.

The state company, attached to the Ministry of People's Power for Science and Technology (MINCYT), reaffirmed its commitment to keeping the country connected, stressing that “the Homeland is defended with work, technology and union”.
