The Attorney General
of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, reported, on his account on the social network
X, about the request for an arrest warrant against sociologist Edison
Arciniegas, for the crime of hate speech.
Saab explained that this
subject “through the indiscriminate and irresponsible use of Social Networks and
other means of communication: he spreads false information through which he
intends to cause anxiety and panic in the community”.
