MP will investigate an ongoing case of animal abuse in Yaracuy by the extreme right

The Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, reported that Attorney General's Office 6 was appointed in Yaracuy state, with competence in Human Rights to initiate an investigation for animal abuse.

In his account on the social network X, he explained that this measure is being taken “because of the brutal events that occurred in an opposition march of the extreme right, where subjects expose the #ahorcamiento of a rooster, in order to inflict pain on a harmless animal and spread content of contempt for an ideological factor”.

He emphasized that the Public Ministry “does not tolerate this type of action outside the law: using Nazi methods to disseminate -through animal abuse- messages of hate against pro-government factors (as is the present case) and of incitement to political violence.”
