MUBARQ to hold conservatory and cultural activities to celebrate International Women's Day

The Barquisimeto Museum
(MUBARQ) will hold the Presence of Women activity, which will have a
discussion and various cultural presentations to celebrate International Women
's Day in its spaces on March 8, as announced by
the Foundation of National Museums through its account on the social network Instagram.
The purpose of the discussion “Historical Routes on the Presence of Women in the Artistic and
Scientific World” is to discuss the evolution of the role of
women in these areas.
In addition, the
concert artist Ramón Pastor Castillo will accompany the activity with his music along with
others, musicians and singers who will delight us with their productions and will be able to
express their homage to women in the form of songs, poetry and songs.
The activity will start at 11:00am in the spaces of MUBARQ to celebrate and recognize the struggle for equality, justice, peace and the development of the role of women throughout history.
