As part of its work and special tours, the Museum of Architecture (MUSARQ) organized a comprehensive photography workshop, which was given by the experienced professional, Félix Gerardi, in the San Agustín parish of Caracas.
According to information from Venezolana de
Televisión, during the day, Gerardi shared information about the history
of photography in Venezuela, the most used techniques and the various aesthetic
elements of the image that must be considered when capturing an image.
In addition, the facilitator of the activity
expressed his satisfaction at sharing the knowledge of his profession with the
enthusiastic group that actively participated in the cultural proposal.
“The most interesting thing about these workshops
are the experiences that the people who participate have. With these workshops,
people learn to value and appreciate what they do, beyond pressing
a button on their cell phone,” he said.
He also highlighted the versatility and
promptness of a cell phone for photographic work.
However, he indicated that working with a camera allows us to conceptualize
in greater detail what is intended to be transmitted through an image.
“The cell phone is a very practical and useful tool for many things. If we learn to use it intelligently, we can get a good advantage in every job we are doing,” he said.
