Musical Vaselina will be presented at the Sala Ríos Reyna of the Teresa Carreño Theater

The musical Vaseline (Grease) arrives for the first time at the Teresa Carreño Theater on Saturday, September 12 at Sala Ríos Reyna, at 5:00 p.m., with live music, great choreography and a cast led by Víctor Drija.

Set in the 1950s, the story follows Sandy, a young woman who arrives at Rydell High, and Danny Zuko, the charismatic leader of the T-Birds, played by Drija. After a summer romance, the two are reunited at school and must face their feelings, the expectations of their classmates and the pressure to fit in.

More than 30 artists, including actors, singers and dancers, participate in the show under the general direction of Elvis Chaveinte. The musical direction is in charge of Jhosmarni Martínez, with the advice of Elisa Vegas and the choreographies of Taba Luis Ramírez and Víctor Drija. The performances will continue on Sunday, September 13 at 11:00am and 5:00pm.
