This Sunday, January 11, the head of government of Caracas, Nahum Fernández, recalled that the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, has always relied on faith to face and overcome adversity.
“From the first moment that President Maduro heard the Christian people, he said: The path of the Bolivarian Revolution is faith. Faith opens paths and works miracles (...) I was born in the Christian church and I know the great miracles that faith can do,” he said.
This was stated in Plaza Bolívar in Caracas where a Religious Meeting was held, for the release of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro and the First Lady, Cilia Flores, in which citizens raised their voices to God, from the depth of their hearts, to pray and ask for the return of their leaders and the peace of Venezuela.
He recalled that oil colonialism has not been able to impose itself in Venezuela and that President Maduro, supported by God, will achieve victory and return with good luck to Bolivar's homeland to continue working for the nation.
He stressed that “the voice of the church is heard loud: Liberation now. Today, the Christian people of Venezuela are mobilizing in a great concentration of faith, crying out to Almighty God for the immediate release of President Maduro and First Lady Cilia Flores.”
