Nahum Fernández: The mobilization sent a powerful message to the world

The vice-president of Mobilization of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Nahum Fernández, stressed that this great mobilization in Caracas sends a powerful message to the world, but mainly to the Venezuelan people, of the need to defend peace and stability in the country.

He pointed out that “today the People have demonstrated, with great force, that they are capable, they are impressive”.

“We have seen the deployment of everything that is organized: Community Councils, communes, streets, motorized, organized collective forces,” he said.

He added that “today we are showing what our conditions and capacities are, we are also sending a categorical message that the President did not say repeatedly yesterday: if you want peace, you have to prepare to defend it”.

Fernández added that this march allows the militancy of the PSUV and allied parties to find themselves in their revolutionary spirit and their Chavista character, in order to ensure respect for their sovereignty, freedom and independence.

He also stated that they are organized to defend the homeland and peace, “that is why we must continue working for our people and with these practices to defend our territory and also defend it from the hegemony of social networks.”
