Nahum Fernández: We have convened here to set an example for peace

The head of the Government of the Capital District, Nahum Fernández, in the march for world peace, reiterated the support of the Venezuelan People and Government for Iran after the attacks carried out by the Zionist regime of Israel.

He specified that the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, intends to “impose on the world a plan of domination and control” (...) they no longer expected and that immediately the Government of Iran would come out to respond to that de facto plan of death.

“Today we have convened here among South Americans to set an example against the war, to set an example for peace, but also to tell the government of Iran that the Venezuelan people stand in solidarity,” he said.

Finally, he called for peace, “enough of so much death, enough of so many genocidal plans against humble and working peoples, because this is about the policy proposed by some actors of the world's extreme right, of world capitalism that has tried to generate from that space a space of force to control the entire Middle East”.
