Ñáñez on Edmundo González: His case is shameful, he is a pathological liar

The sectoral vice-president of Communication, Culture and Tourism and Minister of Popular Power for Communication, Freddy Ñáñez, described Edmundo González as a shameful and sad case, after his statements about his flight to Spain.

“Edmundo González Urrutia's shameful and sad case has proven that he is a pathological liar and also a person with such great weakness that at no time can he be considered the leader of anything,” Ñáñez said during the program Cable a Tierra, a Venezuelan television review.

He recalled that González Urrutia released the letter stating that he was coerced to leave Venezuela, while recognizing the triumph of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, in the last election of July 28.

“You lied and by lying you are harming third parties, such as the Government of Spain, which is giving you the asylum that sent you by plane, which is treating you as international laws say, with dignity to political asylum,” he said.

It is worth noting that, on September 19, the president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, showed with audio at a press conference, the commitment made by González Urrutia not to constitute a supposed government from abroad.
