National Anti-Drug Superintendent: So far this year we have seized 56,218 kilos of different drugs

To date, the country's authorities have seized more than 56,218 kilos of different drugs in 5,413 operations, according to the National Anti-Drug Superintendent, M/G Danny Ferrer Sandrea.
During her participation in the radio program National Anti-Drug Superintendence Siempre Contigo, Sandrea indicated that 6,602 people have been arrested in these actions against drug trafficking.
“These operations are carried out with professionalism, ethics and respect for Human Rights, guaranteeing transparency and commitment to the well-being of the Venezuelan people,” he said.
Similarly, as reported by the Ministry of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace (MPPRIJP), Ferrer Sandrea indicated that the National Government is carrying out the National Anti-Drug Plan 2026-2031, which is designed to strengthen public policies in prevention, control of money laundering and regulation of chemicals.
“We will continue to work tirelessly to guarantee a Venezuela free from these threats and protect the well-being of our people,” he concluded.
