National Assembly debates 2025 parliamentary agenda

The first vice-president of the National Assembly, Deputy Pedro Infante, indicated that this Wednesday, January 22, a meeting of the advisory commission was held at the headquarters of the Legislative Branch to build the agenda for the year 2025.

“Not only did the presidents of the 15 permanent committees of the AN participate, but other members of its boards of directors, as well as the heads of the parliamentary blocs of the Homeland and of the democratic opposition with the objective of building the legislative plan for the year 2025, that is, the working map,” he said.

He explained that the year 2025 has peculiarities, including “it marks the end of the period of the current legislative body and marked by several electoral processes that mark the country's political, social and legislative agenda.”

He added that they received 80 proposals for this legislative period, of which “between 5 and 60 are feasible and between 25 and 30 laws can be carried out.”
