National Assembly swears in preliminary commission for judicial nominations

This Tuesday, April 21, the National Assembly sworn in the preliminary committee to evaluate the judicial nominations.

In the regular session, the president of the parliament, deputy Jorge Rodríguez, explained that it is a commission that will be responsible for choosing the new magistrates who will be incorporated into the Supreme Court of Justice.

The preliminary committee will be chaired by the deputy Giuseppe Alessandrello, who together with Carlos Mogollón, María Gabriela Vega, Desiré Santos Amaral, Gloria Castillo, Fernando Bastidas, José Villarroel, Luis Augusto Romero, Pablo Perez, Felix Freites and Antonio Ecarri, who will be responsible for verifying the selection process, as established by the Constitutional framework and the laws of the Republic.
