National Bicentennial Reading Plan arrived at the La Pastora Transitional Camp

The Great Mission Viva Venezuela, My Beloved Homeland began the National Bicentennial Reading Plan in the José Ignacio Paz Castillo transitory camp, located in the parish of La Pastora in Caracas, with a day of reading and music aimed at families affected by the earthquakes of last June 24.

Cultivators and singers shared poems, stories and expressions of Venezuelan identity, accompanied by maracas, cuatros and traditional music, in a space that promoted participation and community encounter.

The day also made it possible to provide emotional support to children and young people through art and culture, with the participation of volunteers and artists who brought recreational activities to the families sheltered in the camp.

In this regard, the head of the Great Living Venezuela Mission, My Beloved Homeland, Tarek William Saab, pointed out that these artistic expressions contribute to the spiritual accompaniment of the youngest and complement comprehensive care actions.

With this deployment, the Great Mission Viva Venezuela, My Beloved Homeland promotes reading, national identity and cultural roots as tools to strengthen hope and the emotional well-being of families.
