National Construction Training Program will train in 17 technical profiles

The new National Training Program for Construction Workers includes a scope of 17 profiles linked to the infrastructure industry, nearly 75 curricular units and an offer of short workshops lasting approximately 20 hours, designed to ensure continuous support and technical training for the sector.

This was reported this Wednesday by the Minister for the Social Labor Process, Carlos Alexis Castillo during a planning meeting where he explained that, within the strategic structure of the program announced by the president, Delcy Rodríguez, training in occupational safety and health will be maintained in a rigorous and transversal manner for workers, supervisors, companies and inspectors of the National Institute for Prevention, Health and Occupational Safety (Inpsasel).

In order to monitor its compliance and operability, a permanent coordination team was established from the headquarters of the Ministry for Social Work Process (Mpppst) in conjunction with the Deputy Ministry of Social Security.

Castillo explained that for the application phase, applicants will be able to register through three channels: the Community Councils, the digital platform of the Patria System and the official web portals of the Inces and the Mpppst. After formalizing the application, the participants will be contacted for assignment to working groups and coordinating their classes. Once formed, they will be integrated as a matter of priority into the works of the Venezuela Renace Plan to contribute to the country's housing development and infrastructure.

According to a press release, registration begins next Monday, August 24, and the deployment of the program includes the inter-institutional coordination of the Mpppst, the Inces, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of University Education, the Sectorial Vice Presidency of Services and Public Works, and Inpsasel, as well as the operational team of the Venezuela Renace Plan, adding capacities to promote productive employment throughout the national territory.
