The national futsal team that will participate in the Conmebol Copa América 2026 has launched a new preparation module.

The Vinotinto Futsal under the command of technical director Robinson Romero began last Sunday, January 11, the preparation module at the United Nations Park of Paradise in Caracas and will continue until January 20.

Among the 22 players called up are the youth goalkeeper (U20) Jonath Navarro, the experienced José Villalobos and Robert Pérez. Also noteworthy is the call for Kenedy Morales, Henry Peroezo, Allen Viloria and Brayan Sandoval, who have made a space for themselves among so many figures, according to a press release from the Venezuelan Football Federation (FVF).

Meanwhile, the coaching staff is accompanied by Romero, Erick Cortés (assistant), Pedro León (physical trainer) and Carlos Ramos (archer trainer), as well as medical professionals, nutritionists and psychologists.

The continental tournament will be played in Paraguay between January 24 and February 1. The champion and runner-up will qualify for the FIFA Futsal World Cup 2028.

Group A is made up of Paraguay, Argentina, Uruguay, Peru and Ecuador. While Group B is made up of Brazil, Venezuela, Chile, Colombia and Bolivia.

The Group Stage will be played between January 24 and 29, with one day without games (27). The Final Phase will be held on Saturday, January 31 and Sunday, February 1. All games will be played at the stadium or COP Arena-Oscar Harrison, in Asunción.
