National Government allocated more than 380 thousand dollars for communal projects in Mérida

The National Government allocated resources in bolivars equivalent to 380,000 dollars to implement communal projects in the municipalities of Rangel, Pueblo Llano and Cardenal Quintero, jurisdictions located on the Páramo territorial axis, Mérida-Barinas branch.

According to a note published with the Venezuelan News Agency (AVN), the governor of the state of Mérida, Jehyson Guzmán, completed a working tour of the three jurisdictions, with meetings and meetings with activists from the communes, to sign agreements for the allocation of resources by the Federal Government Council (CFG).

The activity in the Rangel municipality allowed the “allocation of 240,000 dollars to implement projects in the communes,” the state president reported in this part of the route, detailing that there are 24 projects to improve roads, for educational infrastructure, in the area of drinking water and sports, among other vertices.

In the municipality of Pueblo Llano, in the area bordering the state of Barinas, the governor and local municipalities signed agreements for the granting of 100,000 dollars.

These are projects that were selected by the people in the first National Popular Consultation of 2025, and “we are delivering the certificates that accredit the popular power (the provision) of 100,000 dollars, approved by President Nicolás Maduro,” Governor Guzmán highlighted this Wednesday in Pueblo Llano.

While passing through the jurisdiction of Cardenal Quintero, Governor Jehyson Guzmán met with the local community members to sign funding agreements in the order of 40,000 dollars, resources allocated to the La Éra, Las Eurales, El Caney and La Llanada community councils.

In all cases, these are projects to improve school infrastructure, basic services, roads, sports facilities and communal spaces in the three municipalities with an agricultural and tourist vocation, located along the road axis that interconnects the states of Mérida and Barinas.
