National Government and private sector fine-tune alliance to improve National Electricity System

Representatives of the Bolivarian Government and the private sector held a working meeting with a view to advancing joint strategies aimed at strengthening the National Electricity System (SEN).
The meeting took place in the Hugo Chávez Hall of the Ministerial Tower, located in San Bernandino, and was led by the Minister of Electric Energy, Jorge Márquez, accompanied by the president of the National Electricity Corporation (CORPOELEC), José Luis Betancourt, the senior advisor, Freddy Brito, and specialists from the core areas of the State Electricity Corporation.
Also, according to a press release, representatives of the Venezuelan Chamber of Construction (CVC), the Federation of Chambers and Associations of Commerce and Production of Venezuela (Fedechambers), and the Venezuelan Confederation of Industrialists (Conindustria) participated in this meeting.
This dialogue is part of the actions aimed at consolidating a robust, efficient and sustainable electrical system, in accordance with the Plan for the Homeland of the 7T: The Great Transformations towards 2030.
On December 10, the Head of State ordered the installation of a working table with the private sector and in this way joining forces to strengthen the National Electricity System.
