National Government and Public Health System Strengthen Strategies for the Welfare of the Venezuelan People

The Sectorial Vice President of Science, Technology, Ecosocialism and Health, Gabriela Jiménez Ramírez, together with the Minister of Popular Power for Health, Magaly Gutiérrez, participated in the National Meeting of Authorities of the National Public Health System, held at the facilities of the Venezuelan Institute for Scientific Research (IVIC).

According to a press release, the Minister for Science and Technology, Gabriela Jiménez, said that this space “allowed the exchange of ideas and experiences between the different instances of the system, strengthening coordination and joint work for the health of the Venezuelan people.”

During the day, an assessment was made of the main achievements achieved during the year 2025, as well as an analysis of the remaining challenges with the objective of continuing to strengthen institutional coordination and joint work for the integral health of the Venezuelan people.

The meeting also made it possible to make progress “in the construction of the strategic lines that will guide the actions of the sector during the year 2026".
