The
Minister of People's Power for Transport, Jacqueline Fanía, led a comprehensive inspection this
Wednesday at La Chinita International Airport,
with the objective of evaluating the operation of the terminal, in addition to supervising the modernization
projects carried out.
During the day, Faria, who was accompanied by the governor of the state of Zulia, Luis Caldera, verified the 90% progress in the remodeling of bathroom batteries in essential service areas.
It also inspected the preventive
maintenance of air conditioning systems,
power plants and the fleet of aeronautical firefighters; these actions
ensure that each space meets the safety standards required
for user comfort, according to the Ministry of Transport press.
These tasks respond to the guidelines of the president in
charge, Delcy Rodríguez, focused on optimizing public services to
strengthen the mobility infrastructure in the territory, thus seeking
to promote national and international tourism
by offering decent spaces, making the most of the operational capacity of the 3,000-meter main runway that operates 24 hours a day.
