The government of the state of Falcón, in a joint deployment between the Ministry of the People's Power of Public Works, successfully launched the second phase of the Special Road Plan in Tucacas, Silva municipality.

This is a series of works aimed at ensuring the safety of residents and tourists. The work crews began work on Hugo Chávez Avenue, following the direct instructions of President Nicolás Maduro's policies to fully transform and optimize the road network of this strategic town on the East Coast.

As part of the protocol prior to paving, the correction of household water leaks in the area was carried out. This technical action is essential to ensure soil stabilization, ensuring maximum durability and quality of the asphalt, details a press release from the local government.

The plan envisages placing approximately 14,000 tons of asphalt on the main avenues, streets and corridors that form the backbone of the coastal population. During the first phase of the plan, which culminated in December, more than 3,600 tons of asphalt were placed.
