National Government carries out a day of cataract operation in Barinas

The Ministry of Popular Power for Health, hand in hand with Misión Milagro, carried out a day of cataract surgery in the state of Barinas for the benefit of 150 people.

According to a press release from the ministerial portfolio, this is the third phase of free outpatient interventions carried out in that entity. To date, 305 successful operations have been achieved to correct the loss of visibility caused by this progressive disease that causes opacity in the lens of the eye, located behind the iris.

Andreína Rodríguez, Single Health Authority of Barinas, stressed that this operation was achieved thanks to joint work to ensure optimal care for the patient and increase their overall well-being.
