National Government executes five-task plan to improve educational quality

The Minister of Education, Héctor Rodríguez, reported that the Bolivarian Government is implementing a plan, with five tasks, to improve the quality and functioning of the education system. The first two assignments on the list are regaining school enrollment and returning to normal classroom hours.

He pointed out that addressing the deficit of teachers and teachers in some subjects, organizing the programs of the educational curriculum and reinforcing the management process in each school and high school are the other three goals that they intend to develop.

As reported by the newspaper Úlmas Noticias, the head of the education portfolio, warned that carrying out this process requires the support of teachers, teachers, parents and representatives, together with students and representatives of organized communities.

The statements were made this Monday at the delivery of the remodeling work of the Antonio José de Sucre Educational Unit, in the Caucagüita parish of the Sucre municipality, Miranda state.

Minister Rodríguez was accompanied by the governor of Miranda, Elio Serrano, and the mayor of Petare, José Vicente Rangel Ávalos, and other authorities.

He reiterated that the recovery of school enrollment involves respecting the right to education of every child, every young person, many of whom left the education system due to the migration of their parents, but who are already returning to the country, where they will offer them all the support to resume their education.
