National Government places pacemakers to cardiac patients in Portuguesa

Seven patients in the Portuguese state benefited from pacemaker operations through the Plan For Health and Life 2026.
The devices were sent by the National Government and implemented in a joint effort with the Ministry of People's Power for Health and with the logistical support of the Government.
“We are working as one team giving them our best today on World Health Day. We want everyone to be healthy,” said the governor of Portuguesa, Primitivo Cedeño in a press release.
The regional president accompanied the operative day and reported that this opportunity, bicameral pacemakers were placed to correct heart rhythm disorders in patients from different municipalities of the state. “We are extending the lives of our grandparents,” he said.
