As part of the reindustrialization plan, the Bolivarian Government is developing a project for the manufacture of more than nine million domestic automotive spare parts, an initiative that promises an estimated savings of 100 million dollars per year and the generation of two thousand direct jobs, to strengthen the national economy.

The Minister of Industries and National Production, Alex Saab, presented the project at the headquarters of the International Center for Productive Investment (CIIP), accompanied by authorities and representatives of the private sector. During the event, 115 100% Venezuelan automotive parts were exhibited, highlighting the country's commitment to local production with a view to exporting and reducing dependence on foreign exchange.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Venezuelan Chamber of Manufacturers of Automotive Products (Favenpa), the Association of Small and Medium-sized Automotive Entrepreneurs (Apyme), seven of the country's leading assemblers and 34 spokespersons from the automotive sector, who put forward proposals to energize the industry and position Venezuelan products in key international markets.

“We are making progress in productive diversification with quality Made in Venezuela,” said Minister Saab, who supported the call of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, to boost the national economy and strengthen the industry with a view to exporting.
